Fazlul Karim sworn in as CJ

New Chief Justice Mohammad Fazlul Karim was sworn in Monday morning. President Zillur Rahman administered him oath at about 11:00am at Bangabhaban.The president appointed Justice Fazlul Karim, the senior most judge of the Appellate Division of the SC, as the 18th Chief Justice of the country on February 4.

Iran launches production lines of unmanned planes

Several hundreds agitating garment workers staged demonstration on Dhaka-Mymensingh highway in Gazipur Monday morning demanding arrears, suspending traffic movement on the highway.

Iran said a year ago it has built an unmanned surveillance aircraft with a range of more than 600 miles (1,000 kilometers), long enough to reach Israel.
